The Founder and Idealizer
Michel Eric Peneveyre was born in Switzerland on March 13, 1966. He studied and graduated as a topographical draftsman. He also became a successful football player, playing for over 10 years for Lausanne-Sports. During a trip to Thailand in 1990, Michel suffered a diving accident and became a quadriplegic. Despite his disability, Michel surprised his friends and family by overcoming the difficulties of everyday life and, what's more, he returned to practicing sports such as snow skiing, diving, kayaking, hang gliding, rugby and water skiing, standing out in international championships.
Today Michel Peneveyre is the President of the Rodas da Liberdade Association and also presides over the Gabriela Feliz School Community Center in Recife. He is married and has adopted two children. He also practices therapies such as Reiki, meditation and wellness arts such as Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, among others.
